Dr. N. Queen-Bourrows DNP, MSN, FNP-NP-C is an Autonomous Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified and licensed by the state of Florida and Georgia to provide patient-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process, with a passion and focus on mental Health and Substance disorder.
Dr. QueenBourrows career in health care began 17 years ago working in multiple settings as a nurse in hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, Residential Mental Health facilities, forensics, home health, Dual diagnosis treatment facilities and Correctional facilities. In addition to her extensive nursing experience, Dr. QueenBourrows has an outstanding academic background that includes a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Spring Arbor in Michigan. Bachelor of science in nursing and Master of science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Chamberlain in Chicago, Illinois. Associate degree in Nursing from the Academy of Nursing. Dr. QueenBourrows continues to build her academic background by completing a Post master's psychiatric nurse practitioner at the University Oof Purdue Global.
Dr. QueenBourrows has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. Believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients and consumers. Seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their needs. Motivated and Passionate to enhance a positive healing experience and confidence to those in need. Combined education, experience and Spirituality as a Minister of the Gospel provide a strong academic foundation for the kind of holistic approach which is critical to patient care. I believe health is not only the physical aspect of a patient, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well. I believe that healing and wholeness are matters of body, mind, and spirit.
